What is gingivitis

A gingivitis is is a a diseases that the affect the part of the mouth called gingiva,  by causing swellings, redness, bleeding and pains in the tooth.  The gingiva simply is part of the gum of your tooth,

 It is usually caused by  lack of,  oral hygiene, genetics , inadequate vitamins or lack of routine dental chek-ups

 When you you have a gingivitis infection , it is common to see one of the followings signs in your mouth,, swollen or puffy gums, painful tooth, dark  red gums, bleeding when brush your mouth, bad breath, tender or sensitive gums, pains when you  chew from one side of your mouth.

 There are many habits that can lead to  or create condition that can cause gum diseases, , the most common ones are   lack of oral hygiene,  smoking cigarrete,  oldage,  lack of vitamins in your diet especially vitamin C, Dental restorations that don't fit properly or crooked teeth that are difficult to clean, Conditions that decrease immunity such as leukemia, HIV/AIDS or cancer treatment AND Medical conditions such as certain viral and fungal infections.

 To PREVENT gum disease , you will have state the following habits

1.       Brush your mouth at least twice a day

2.        Visit a dentist at least ones in a month for a regular dental check ups

3.       Eat balance diet,
